- Bio
- Casale contributed an analysis of clerical employees and factory councils to L’Ordine Nuovo in May 1920. The chronology accompanying Gramsci’s prison notebooks identifies him as an administrator of the journal and secretary of the Institute of Proletarian Culture founded in January 1921. His later testimony describes distributing the newspaper after its premises were attacked in 1922. In a second May 1920 article he recalls participating in Turin employees’ union debates and writing in L’Impiego Privato in favor of workplace organization.
