Bio
Fichte was a philosopher and public educator associated with German idealism. He taught at Jena and later at Berlin, where he served as the university’s first elected rector. His political interventions included opposition to Napoleonic domination. L’Ordine Nuovo reproduced a posthumous exhortation to practical action and human improvement in November 1919; this appearance does not make him a participant in its contemporary movement.
