- Bio
- Missiroli contributed to Italian cultural and political journalism before the First World War and directed Il Resto del Carlino during 1919–1920. He supported Nitti and made room for discussion of socialism, encountering opposition from local fascists. He directed Il Secolo in 1921–1923 and also collaborated with Piero Gobetti. His position toward fascism changed over these years: in a public letter to Gobetti in 1925 he endorsed the regime. In July 1919, L’Ordine Nuovo printed a chapter he had supplied on socialist education and science, followed by a critical editorial response.
