- Bio
- Pastore moved to Turin as a railway employee in 1912 and became secretary of its socialist section in 1914. An opponent of intervention in the war, he combined journalism with cooperative organization and became editor-in-chief of the Piedmont Avanti! in December 1918. His 1919 contribution proposes linking internal commissions and departmental delegates with transformed unions. He joined the Communist Party at its foundation in 1921, became the first director of L’Unità in 1924 and was imprisoned in 1925–1926.

- Other Notes
- Used the later pen names da Luni and Carlo Rossi. Exiled at the end of 1926; later worked in the Soviet Union and returned to Italian journalism. Council-delegate status remains unknown; his proposal is not evidence of a factory mandate. Issue I.28 names him in the proposed propaganda-school program for the Commune, jointly with O. Casalini. This announcement does not by itself establish that the lessons took place.
