Bio
Pierre de Saint-Prix was the younger brother of Jean de Saint-Prix and corresponded with Romain Rolland in 1919–1926. In his 1920 contribution to L’Ordine Nuovo he distinguished French students’ individualism and loose socialist sympathies from organized revolutionary commitment. He subsequently worked as a journalist and writer, publishing Deux enfants in 1925. His later career included socialist Resistance activity and service as prefect of the Drôme at the Liberation.

Other Notes
The museum biography describes him as close to the Socialist Party without joining it; this does not establish an institutional affiliation in 1920. No council mandate established.
